Microsoft has released another beta for Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac OS X snow leopard powered by intel, the latest release is known as beta 5. The Office for Mac OS X 2011 Beta 5 has the build version of 14.0.0.100709. So, what’s new?
One of the biggest addition to the Office 2011 suite is a ribbon that’s at the core of our next-generation Office for Mac user experiences. The new design is an evolution of the Office 2008 Elements Gallery and uses the classic Mac menu and Standard Toolbar giving you the best of both worlds. You can even collapse the ribbon and the Toolbar for more screen space or for the more advanced users who rely on keyboard shortcuts.

Unless you are running a really outdated version of Office for Mac or decided to upgrade to a intel powered iMac, then Office 2011 is a good buy. Other than that, this new version has not many new useful features.
